Video walls for an exhibition, cuated by Ellen Lupton, at the Cooper Hewitt Museum in New York. Collaboration with Peter Girardi, Peter Cho and others.

The project involved writing predictions for what we then characterized as “electronic publishing”. Text-based prognostications considered ideas like personalization and customization; reading and the dissemination of data; speed, silence, and space.

These text panels, projected full-length on the museum wall, were interrupted by images—chromosomes, handwriting—intended to both amplify and challenge definitions of legibility, readability, and the nuances of interpersonal exchange.
